Design and functionality of the studio inspired by Japanese home design and modular space-saving innovations. I hope to take advantage of the adaptability of a more traditional Japanese style room, paired with built in transformable furniture. I have also been studying Japanese wood joinery and earthquake proofing measures to reduce the stress to the structure while in transit.

While I will be using a lot of salvaged and collected preexisting furniture and architectural pieces, I hope to also be able to incorporate a lot of Cedar wood elements. Most probably on the exterior walls.
