Sodden-Witted Lord

from $6.00

“Thou sodden-witted Lord! Thou hast no more brain than I have in mine elbow.”

Medieval interpretations of animals will always have a special place in my heart, especially when it’s a foreign animal the artist never once laid their own eyes upon. This illustration falls in the second category, of ‘what the heck is that?’

The drawing I based this design on claimed the creature was a sheep. I’m not sure if I agree with that, but I decided I had no choice but to faithfully recreate his majestic form.
